Detroit electro legend Derrick May will be in the driver's seat as the Row Club cracks the birthday barrier, marking one year of Thursday night big-name-DJ sessions in this uptown dance space. Founder of Transmat records, May was one of the key producers present at the birth of techno in the late-1980s. In the last decade he's hardly been back to the recording studio, but has kept his credit rating high thanks to some fine live work.
