Beauty and the Beast
The theatrical version of the Disney animated film 'Beauty and the Beast' was an unexpected Broadway hit and it is continuing to expand its fan base in the hinterlands. Packed with hummable songs and loveable Disney stereotypes dressed as teapots, lamps and cups, 'Beauty and the Beast' makes the leap from film to stage with panache. The costumes alone are enough to put most people in visual stimuli overload for a week.
