Jazz on the Lake
September hails the arrival of the year's cultural highlight, the Arts Alive Festival, a month long shindig of music, theatre, poetry and art. As usual the Festival kicks off with the highly popular Jazz on the Lake concert. This year the concert has a distinctly local flavour and established jazz greats play alongside innovative and experimental new artists in this daylong salute to one of Africa's favourite music styles. So pack a picnic, relax in the glorious spring sunshine and enjoy some of the best music around.
