Chicago's Green City Market
This farmers' market, now relocated to Chicago Historical Society's new north lot, is where some of the top gourmets shop for organically grown foods. You'll find the best local, produce, including fruits and vegetables from outlying farms, herbs, breads, meats, eggs, cheeses, sausages, honey, maple syrup and flowers. Special features include 'Chefs-Cooking-At-the-Market' demonstrations, guided tours and children's workshops. Food sold is grown and processed without use of synthetic fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, colourings, or radiation.
