Saffron
Boston has plenty of serviceable Indian restaurants, but none that give Indian cuisine the nouvelle treatment. Saffron has changed all that with a menu that takes the usual curry and tandoori mainstays of Indian food to new heights of culinary perfection. Dishes on offer include a whole red snapper wrapped in grape leaves and a two-tier duck and potato soup, as well as the usual mulligatawny. The room filled with dark wood and shiny steel, and there's a patio for outdoor dining.
